HELLO!!!!
Well well well, this is one of the craziest and GREATEST experiences of my life. Words cannot express the feelings of being here in the MTC. There are so many wonderful other missionaries who know SO much. I felt like I knew a great deal about the gospel but oh man was I proved wrong quickly. The first day here on Wednesday wasn't too bad, in fact the days got harder as the week continued. But then came Sunday. It was such a beautiful day learnging from the President of the MTC and also from his counselors and their wives. I realized how important it is that I focus on the most important goal while I am out here - my future investigators.
Being here I have learned so much, we study and have class for many many hours of the day. I get so antsy sitting there and so does my companion, thankfully we bopth like taking our breaks to the bathroom. And its normal here to leave with another girl to go to the bathroom Haha. My compaion is AMAZING. Her name is Sister Dodd and I could not have asked for a cooler or fun loving companion if I tried. Her grandpa passed away on Friday and she is having some hard times right now but wow is she a soldier. I look up to her so much. We are paired with two other sisters going to Independence Visitor Center too so its pretty fun.
The zone we are in is full of all boys and its hilarious. We all went to the temple this morning and it was AMAZING. I have never been so grateful, happy, humbled and shown so much about the Atonement as I did today. But I give credit to the MTC Fireside we had last night because the speaker was the Provo Temple Pres who really talked about how when we go in through the temple, we are converted one person every 2 hours. And the people on the other side are rejoicing. What we are teaching today we must truly believe and really live up to our fullest potential. Every year we are to become better than we were the year before and it was so cool to hear because if you know me, I am all about that motivational stuff!! :)
I just want to say thank you to all of those who pray for me and for other missionaries. I know from my personal experience I have never felt the peace from prayer like I have here. The temple has brought me to such a wonderful place and being here being prepared to go teach is a HUGE blessing. Thank you all for the letters :) I feel so blessed for all the support :)
Love,
SISTER LARSON
