Hello All!

Well, last week on Tuesday night we received the call that Sister Powell and I will be staying here in Odessa for another transfer! Very good news to hear and we are both excited, she will be "dying" here with me and this amazing ward. She is pretty happy about it too!
On Friday, we went to the visitors center (my 1st experience) with an investigator Alyssa and Sister Bench from the ward. It was such a powerful beautiful experience. Alyssa had tears on her face within the first 2 minutes of just sitting in front of the Christis. We went through the display of God's Plan for Families which was powerful, Sister Loo took us on the tour and made it a memorable experience. Remember how much the Lord has helped us in our own families or has helped us to become better for our future families was something she had us reflect on throughout the tour. I felt so grateful again for the trials I had been through and for the Lord's grace making it possible to be forgiven so that I can provide so much more for my future/current family.
Saturday was an all mission conference with Russel M. Nelson, Elder Deschler, and Elder Clayton of the seventy. It was so cool! We all got to shake their hands, yes including Russell M Nelson! Hey Oh! It was sweet too because the sisters all sit in the very front rows so we were very close to him. Elder Clayton talked a lot about how we are angels here on the earth today. It was so powerful. Russell M Nelson talked a lot about how the gospel is good news and good tidings. How we are bringing good news to others around us because we are angels. That we need to look in the mirror and see if we have the light of Christ, if our countenance is bright and an outer appearance of our inward faith. So amazing and something I know I want to work more on is having that light shine brighter and stronger.
Saturday evening was Brennen (13), Brayden (11) and Hunter (9) Kellogg's baptism!! It went really well and it was such an amazing sight to see them come out with wet hair changed back into their sunday clothes. I love those kids and now every member in the family is baptized :)
Its been a good week and not too eventful but this morning was my favorite study time as I read about Faith in True to the Faith as well as conscience. I realized just how much I can work on my faith, with listening to the voices or the promptings right away and how I can have a stronger conscience/spirit because of it. I also loved under Faith that Christ knows how to lift us up, all we have to do is Look unto Him in every thought, doubt not, fear not. How much easier life can be if we just exercise stronger faith in Him, are more obedient and truly rely on Christ getting us through our challenges. Seems simple but I know that its not really but in the end, the blessings are higher or better than anything we can imagine.
A shout out to all those who came to my farewell party, I went through my Photo Album book and just loved laughing at the random pictures and sayings from everyone!! :) I love and Miss you all so much! Always in my prayers! :) If anyone wants to send this sista some good Mormon Music, like EFY, or hawaiian style hymns or ANYTHING (no Mo tab. Ew.), this sista would greatly appreciate it! I have one cd. Its a little over played now. Ha.

LOVE YOU ALL!!!! Thank you so much for your prayers and letters and emails :) Sorry no pictures this week. Maybe next week.
